JOB DESCRIPTION

Works as part of a team responsible for researching and understanding simple and complex corporate actions, maintaining the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity, and producing end of day net asset value calculation of registered mutual funds and ETFs. Prepares information for corporate action application, mutual fund accrual/distribution postings, daily net asset valuation, portfolio pricing analysis/validations, timely internal/external information distributions, portfolio reconciliations, special projects, workflow/process improvements and documentation, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to four years of experience in accounting or finance activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with corporate actions (cash dividends, stock dividends/splits, mergers, etc)
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to identify, critically analyze, and resolve exceptions
  • Demonstrable involvement in process improvements and workflow documentation
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Teams, and PowerBI)
