THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Mutual Fund Investment Specialist to join our CU Wealth team. Reporting to VP, Advisor and Member Experience, the Mutual Fund Investment Specialist is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing financial advice and services to meet their financial planning needs to provide first-class wealth management services to our clients.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
• CSC and Mutual fund license is required
• Working towards CFA and CIM designations
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry in planning/investment and sales
• Expert knowledge of the investment industry, products, and the principles of investment advice/financial planning
• Proficient with planning tools, calculators and advanced experience with the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information with integrity
• Strong customer service focus and positive attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship skills to build trust with clients and colleagues
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills
• Strong analytical and, problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
