Description:
The psychology service in HSE Mid-West Community Healthcare in line with Sláintecare reconfiguration has been realigned to work across the full geographical area with responsibility for specific care groups. The services have close links with the UL, NUIG and MIC Clinical and Educational Psychology Doctoral programmes and are represented on the programme boards. Staff provide lectures as part of the academic modules of the doctoral programme as per their job specification. The services in line with its responsibilities under the Memorandums of Agreement in place has responsibility to provide a variety of clinical training placements to trainees from the various accredited programmes.
