Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced self employed nail technician with their own client base to join our new, small salon. We are currently a team of three and hoping to find a nail technician to work over weekends and the possibility of some hours during the week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a salon, have their own client base and have exceptional customer service skills.
We are a layed back friendly team and would love someone bubbly to join us.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Proficient in makeup application techniques and various beauty treatments.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A valid qualification in beauty therapy or related field is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills.

  Pay: £10.00-£20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Experience:

• Nail technician: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy (preferred)

• Perform a variety of nail treatments, acrylics, builder gel, gel polish, nail arm, manicures, and pedicures.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to provide clients with the best service possible.
• Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and outstanding customer service.
• Recommend products and services that suit individual client needs.
• Handle client bookings and maintain accurate records of treatments provided.
