ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Goodman Fielder Food Service team is going through a growth transformation and as such we currently have a National Account Manager vacancy covering the catering channel. We are passionate about our brands and building a culture where we believe anything is possible so we’re looking for a capable team player with a hunger for bringing our vision to life.
As an integral member of the food service sales team, this role will be responsible for leading customer relationships to drive long-term profitable growth with our customers. The role will deliver and execute the channel strategy on a national basis and will partner with the National Business Manager, other National/State/Territory Account Managers and the Category Team to build a portfolio of the future to deliver the channel plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the Catering channel utilising the existing product Portfolio
- Consistently review the in-year plan and financial metrics, and prioritise the requirements based on risks and opportunities in order to meet calendar year financial budget
- Align cross functionally with Marketing /Commercial to deliver the optimum strategy for the customer
- Leverage trends and market insights to lead Category thinking with the customer
- Create and execute customer seasonal sales drivers to deliver incremental gross profit and Volume
About You
- 5+ years as NAM (preferred)
- Strong cross functional internal and external stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience in managing difficult existing customer relationships
- Experience in working with new customers and developing relationships quickly
- Strong project management experience
