Description:

We’re looking for a Grocery - National Account Manager or Junior National Account Manager to join our UK Sales team in our London Office. This opportunity spans across both of our leading healthier snacking brands, Eat Real + PROPER, brands which are driving the rapid growth of the healthy snacking industry.

In this role, you’ll be working closely with our Senior Commercial Manager gaining valuable experience working on major grocery customers. You’ll liaise externally with buying teams to grow sales through striking mutually beneficial business deals and work cross functionally with marketing, supply chain and finance to execute plans at store level. You will also have responsibility for at least one of your own accounts, with autonomy and responsibility to manage the relationship and full P&L.

THE PERSON:

We seek an ambitious individual with aspirations to become a key member of our London Grocery Account Management Team. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Proactivity, strong organisation skills and attention to detail are imperative. 1-years’ experience working in FMCG is preferable but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work from our London office for a minimum of 3 days a week
  • Comfortable travelling to customer meetings and store visits 2/3 times per month
  • 1-year experience working in FMCG preferable but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager to deliver sales, profit and customer targets
  • Analysing sales trends and promotions to identify opportunities for growth
  • Building relationships both internally (especially with supply and category teams) and externally with our customer’s teams.
  • Responsibility for the P&L of your customer/s as well as internal forecasting and revenue management.
  • Collaborating with various functions to deliver sales plans (e.g., leading the end-to-end execution of feature space units in stores nationally)
  • Completing promotional nomination forms, new line forms and other customer specific administration
  • Assisting in managing the balance sheet by processing invoices for promotions
  • Conducting regular in-store visits to monitor execution of our plans and competitor activity
  • Leading ad hoc projects and presenting findings back to senior members of the team and/or externally to customers, to drive action
