A bit about the role…

Day to day, you’ll be lead the customer relationship across a number of key accounts in the Independent channel which will including the creation and management of annual plans to deliver quarterly and annual financial performance targets. This role will involve

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and growing the network of relationships across business to increase market share
  • Develop and implement specific customer strategies and joint business plans that are
  • relevant to consumer and customer needs to deliver P&L – 5-year outlook
  • Fully immersing yourself in understand and managing the P&L, identifying levers and strategies to maximise profit
  • Negotiate all pricing, trade terms and contracts in line with Costa budgets

A bit about you…

A passion for managing and developing exceptional customer relationships is just the start of what for. So, what else makes a great National Account Manager at Costa?

  • Knowledge and track record of successful customer relationship-building, JBP development, negotiation skills and account management
  • Experience with Independent retailers across the market – both MSO and single site operators
  • A good understanding of FMCG or coffee marketplace an advantage but not essential
  • Proven P&L accountability of £10m+
  • Exceptional flair for numbers and data analysis to drive performance
  • An abundance of drive, tenacity and creative flair to identify opportunities
  • Team Player
