After opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand expanded across London with cafés and a production coffee roastery. 2020 changed Grind beyond recognition and since then we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of people make better, more sustainable coffee at home. You’ll find our pink pods, the UK’s first home compostable coffee pods for Nespresso® machines, available online as well as in Waitrose.
Based in Shoreditch, we have a team of talented people working on everything from product development to creative production, to customer experience.
Since 2011 we’ve been serving flat whites to the people of London from our London cafés, and in 2019 we took Grind online - and since then we’ve shipped tens of millions of our pink compostable coffee pods to customers around the world.
This year we took Grind coffee into supermarkets for the first time. This new pillar of the business allows our products to be an extension of our brand. We are bringing the quality of our café experience into everyone’s coffee cup - whether they’re at home, at work, or on the go. It allows our products to be an extension of our brand.
Responsibilities:
A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a growing role in this dynamic and fast growing business. This is a National Account Manager role with full responsibility for leading the charge for our convenience and off premise consumption channels.
This space is a true focus for the business and high on the priority list to ensure continued growth. In an ideal world you will have account management experience in this channel and come from a food or consumer product background. This is a role that demands quick thinking, agility backed up by a keen attention to detail. There is plenty of scope for development to cross functionally in this high growth business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the P&L for your retail accounts
- Driving growth within retail/off premise accounts
- Landing new accounts!
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail and off premise sector
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning
- Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment with overall company goals
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to wholesale clients
- Coordinate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any logistical issues
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics to measure progress against goals
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on account performance and market conditions
- Utilise CRM tools to manage account information and sales activities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly
- Provide product training and support to wholesale partners as needed
