Description:
The National Account Manager will drive REFY Beauty’s retail growth and customer experience. This strategic leader will have a proven sales and account management background, strong analytical and commercial skills, and experience in retailer P&Ls, fixture management, and profitability. They will open new retail channels, manage sales activities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities include nurturing strategic partnerships, negotiating retailer support, and collaborating across departments to develop and execute retail strategies. The ideal candidate is motivated, commercially savvy, and experienced with premium retailers like Selfridges or Sephora.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
We require an inspirational leader who has ‘done it’ before and is comfortable using a rolled-up sleeves approach as the best approach. No task is too big or small, inspiring the team to believe and want to follow while always having their voice in the conversation.
- 5+ years of experience in a account management or retail leadership role within beauty, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership skills in managing retail teams, mentoring, and individual development, with a focus on achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with experience in contract management, fixture management, and cost-effective range planning.
- Excellent analytical skills in P&L management, profitability analysis, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans for regions or retailers.
- Innovative, entrepreneurial thinker who simplifies complexity, adapts quickly to fast-paced environments, and drives success through resilience and flexibility.
- Digitally savvy with the ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving business environments while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

In-Store Experience and Staff Management:
- Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to maintain high standards of customer service ensuring the REFY experience and product availability is delivered in stores
- Line management responsibility for NAM, driving delivery, setting goals and KPIs and mentoring to achieve results
Responsibilities:
Sales and Account Management:
- Develop and implement retail strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Manage key retail accounts at a strategic level, supporting the wider team in building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty at all levels including buying/trading, merchandising and marketing
- Lead contract negotiations with retailers, securing favourable terms and conditions pricing, space, locations etc
Reporting and analytics:
- Delivery of detailed reporting and analytics to educate the wider business on retail context, category and individual store performance
- Continually drive change and challenge thought processes across retail, sharing retail insights with the wider business to support our growth agenda
Stock Management and RTVs:
- Support retail team in proficiently managing stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory management and minimising out-of-stock situations
- Manage Return to Vendor (RTV) processes efficiently to minimise losses and maximise profitability.
Retailer P&Ls and Costings:
- Analyse and manage retailer P&Ls, ensuring financial objectives are met
- Develop costings and profitability models to support strategic decision-making
Fixture Management and Range Planning:
- Oversee fixture management to ensure cost-effective range planning
- Collaborate with the VM team to optimise product displays and in-store experience
Opening New Doors:
- Identify and pursue new retail opportunities to expand REFY Beauty’s presence
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential retail partners
Sales In and Sales Out Management:
- Work collaboratively with own retail team and commercial forecasting to set retailer forecasts
- Monitor and manage sales in and sales out activities, ensuring targets are met and exceeded
