SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record in business development, project management, and client relationship management
  • 7 + years senior sales experience within a competitive sales environment
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve results
  • Superior communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • High level of commercial acumen and awareness
  • Strong reporting and analytic skills with ability to build pricing modules, sales forecasts, sales strategies and budgets
  • In-depth knowledge of hire industry product range and customer base (desirable)
  • High level industry contacts and relationships in construction and/or mining sector (desirable)

Responsibilities:

This newly created position will help identify, pursue, and secure large-scale equipment hire opportunities within the construction, industrial, and infrastructure markets and lead efforts to expand the company’s presence and drive new revenue growth opportunities.

Reporting into the General Manager - Sales and Marketing you will:

  • Expand Onsite’s market share on key identified construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, upcoming projects, and emerging trends within the major projects market.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to penetrate target markets, maximise revenue opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at major construction customers.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and bids that effectively communicate the value proposition of Onsite Rental Group’s products and services to prospective clients.
  • Lead negotiations with customers to secure favourable terms and conditions for major project contracts, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
  • Track opportunities through management of a robust pipeline (gant chart), monitor key performance indicators
  • Stay informed about industry dynamics, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting the major projects segment.
