SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years senior sales experience, within a competitive sales environment
  • Proven track record in business development, project management, and client relationship management
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve results
  • Superior communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • High level of commercial acumen and awareness
  • Strong reporting and analytic skills with ability to build pricing modules, sales forecasts, sales strategies and budgets
  • In depth knowledge of the hire industry and product range and customer base (desirable)
  • High level industry contacts and relationships in construction and/or mining sector (desirable)

Responsibilities:

This new position has been created to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s contractual foundation within the Resource sector.

Reporting into the General Manager - Sales and Marketing you will:

  • Expand Onsite’s contracted foundations within the Resources sector by delivering new contracted customers to the business.
  • Provide a pipeline of opportunities (gant chart) by conducting market research to identify potential contracted revenue customers.
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers, conduct discovery meetings, and deliver engaging presentations to introduce Onsite Rental Group’s VP.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective customers to secure new contracts and agreements on favourable terms and conditions, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
  • Track opportunities, monitor sales pipeline, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on a monthly basis.
  • Provide internal direction and leadership in relation to key customer safety requirements, obligations, objectives and metrics to ensure alignment
