ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a National Customer Manager to join the Foodservice Oceania team, in a highly varied and autonomous position.
As our National Customer Manager, you will ensure the delivery of account specific plans and targets, identify opportunities for business growth and recommend actions for attainment.
This role will see you primarily be responsible for one or more of our Major Distributor Accounts (Demand Groups) and associated Key Accounts.
Reporting to the AU Business Manager, this role will see you work in a collaborative team environment.
You will also:
- Prepare accurate Sales Plans covering annual sales volumes, revenues, budgets, and contribution targets.
- Co-ordinate the use and allocation of all funds assigned for trade promotion.
- Build robust business relationship with designated partners.
- Develop and manage key national activity plans.
- Participate in the S&OP process for customer base.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts by customer and product.
This role is primarily based at our Melbourne office in Richmond, offering flexible working arrangements. However, we are also open to considering the Sydney office in Macquarie Park as an alternative location.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced sales professional with proficient dairy industry knowledge in the B2B / Foodservice sector.
Critical to your success in this role will be your highly honed organisational and communication skills, teamed with excellent commercial acumen. You will demonstrate the ability to understand and educate on market trends whilst liaising with multiple internal stakeholders.
In addition, you will have:
- Proven experience in the sale of consumer food products, with prior Foodservice sales experience.
- Ability to develop and implement sales plans with a customer base.
- Great networking skills and business development experience.
- Excellent commercial acumen with proven ability to solve problems and create sustainable value.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven track record of meeting targets in a similar role.
- Experience in the execution of account strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
