Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Field Operations, as the National Field Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple face to face research projects. The role is suited to a candidate with experience leading dispersed teams, preferably in the market research industry. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth day to day operations of our field workforce, manage escalations from the team and ensure project targets and objectives are met on time, within budget constraints with effective use of available resources.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Manage all field administrative tasks such as scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, general training and payroll queries.
  • Performance management of interviewers to ensure a high level of productivity and skill is maintained within the field force.
  • Field management of major projects requiring face-to-face fieldwork including door-to-door and intercept methods.
  • Workforce planning to ensure appropriate numbers of face-to-face interviewers are available for upcoming projects.
  • Development of training materials and implementation of training for face-to-face interviewers to ensure high quality data collection.
  • Communicating regularly with project staff, senior management and face-to-face field staff to ensure projects are well planned and managed throughout fieldwork, including maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
  • Managing the production and distribution of interviewer and respondent field materials.
  • Reporting on face-to-face field projects including budgets, KPI targets and progress for key stakeholders including project staff and executive.
  • Checking of survey questionnaire, sample management procedures and workflows impacting field to ensure accuracy and fit for purpose.
  • Provide advice relating to innovative field solutions to improve our face-to-face field capabilities.
  • Providing exemplary leadership to all interviewers.
