Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Junior Coach to join our team. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring coach to support the National MAG coaches while gaining hands-on experience in a high-performance environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing young gymnasts and eager to learn from experienced coaches.

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Coaching Experience: Previous experience in coaching gymnastics, ideally with a focus on competitive Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, is preferred
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MAG disciplines and techniques. Willingness to learn and adapt to the high-performance coaching environment.
  • Passion for Gymnastics: A genuine passion for gymnastics and a commitment to developing young athletes to their full potential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with gymnasts of all levels.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team, taking direction from senior coaches while contributing your ideas and energy.
  • Certifications: SG Intermediate coaching qualification, or higher are a plus. Willingness to pursue further certifications is encouraged.
  • First Aid Certification: A valid First Aid certification is required.
    A good level of administration skills and proficient computer skills (e.g. email, Skype, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google documents, online meeting/conference platforms etc.).
