Description:
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Envoyage is seeking a National Product Director to lead and drive the product, pricing and content strategy for the Australian market. This role will work closely with the Envoyage Australia and Global teams to align with the company’s vision, strategic objectives and growth plans.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Envoyage leadership team, member network and preferred partners to gather market insights and competitive analysis, using them to create product and content plans that drive commercial and competitive success.
The ideal candidate will foster a strong culture of leadership, have a forward-thinking approach, delivering strategic product plans that focus on customer-centricity, collaboration and innovation, while generating new revenue streams and maintaining agility in an ever-changing market.
You will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with stakeholders, driving industry recognition and ensuring Envoyage is known for its innovative approach to the market.
By taking ownership of the product plan, you will effectively communicate it to both internal and external audiences. As a key ambassador for the brand, you will be responsible for conveying Envoyage’s vision, values and goals, clearly positioning the company as a standout leader in the Australian travel industry.
This role can be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong influencing skills, commercial acumen and a deep understanding of industry trends, product knowledge and market opportunities
- Skilled in building relationships, making effective decisions and upholding company culture while effectively communicating and aligning strategies with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes
- Minimum 10 years experience within the Travel Industry
- Minimum 5 years in a Senior Product or Supply role
Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Planning: Create and implement a compelling product strategy that aligns with Envoyage’s vision, objectives, and key results.
Market and Customer Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences, integrating findings into the strategic plan.
Growth and Pricing Strategy: Ensure the brand’s pricing position is clear and strategic, aiding in the deployment of tactical strategies to drive new revenue growth and customer segments.
Brand Integrity: Ensure the brand’s values and unique selling propositions are evident in bespoke product design and execution of new product ranges.
Product Management: Define Envoyage’s product extensions, ensuring robust strategies for a diverse product mix and strong brand attachment, driving higher margins.
Performance Reporting: Review and report key results to the Envoyage AU and global SWOT teams, focusing on TTV growth, revenue growth, strong internal relationships, increased share of wallet and minimised product gaps.
Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, representing the brand and articulating plans and goals as required.
Partner Understanding: Ensure Supply Partnership teams understand Envoyage’s USPs and the importance of the independent advisor and agency sector to FCTG.
Opportunity Capitalisation: When working with partners on plans and objectives, capitalise on specific opportunities for the independent advisor and agency sectors, aiming to increase preferred ratio, SOR %, and non-air TTV.
Strategy Execution & Communication: Facilitate regular stakeholder forums, set clear expectations, and track performance metrics to ensure strategy implementation.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics and market research to inform strategic decisions and monitor progress through key performance indicators.
