Position Summary
The role is responsible for supporting the Sales team. This Role will prepare sales reports, coordinate marketing initiatives and events, develop and prepare presentations, prepare activity reports, support partnership issues, respond to inquiries, be back up for commissions, provide on boarding and sales process training (especially Salesforce) for new BDM’s. Ensure bank standards are achieved and maintained with targeted emphasis continuous improvement, providing support and structure to the BDM sales team.

Major Elements of the Role

  • Be the main point of contact for the BDM’s, RSD’s and VP for coordination of marketing and business building related activity for national events and sales related functions;
  • Build and deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics needs for all channels of business, to support sales growth efforts.
  • Support various administrative tasks from Digital Transformation Initiative.
  • Support the national sales team to ensure applicable marketing related materials are provided on a timely basis;
  • Support Mortgage Broker Partnership Director with national and regional event planning and logistics;
  • Ensure activity reporting is completed weekly in every region, reviewing targets and results with RVPs;
  • Coordinate training and on-boarding of new sales employees in conjunction with RVPs and RSDs and various departments;
  • Assist the RVPs/ National Partnership Director as required with administrative support (such as research, updating reports, creating and maintaining new reports using SharePoint and Excel, phone line review) or additional projects as required;
  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned

Skills and Experience Required

  • Post- secondary education
  • Experience within the financial industry an asset;
  • Bilingual, English and French an asset
  • Strong computer skills (ie: Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce);
  • Salesforce administrative experience would be a strong asset.
  • Effective project management skills and an ability to recruit collaboration to complete corporate initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Well organized and effective time and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Sales background an asset
