Description:

Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities within your specified vertical for larger accounts. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Provenexperience within a Sales/Key Account/Business Development or any similar fieldand in Saudi Arabia market.
  • Anin-depth understanding of the logistics business environment.
  • Businessdevelopment & relationship management skills.
  • Highlycustomer-focused with an ability to build partnering relationships at seniorlevels.
  • Ability toprioritise and organise work while handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Innovativewith the ability to adapt to new technologies and develop new skills.
  • Fluency inwritten and spoken English and Arabic is a plus and a strong advantage

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Acting as a bridge between our customers and our business units, Business Development Managers are responsible for gaining new/additional business as well as keeping/growing existing customers in line with the business units’ strategies. Also as important is hunting for new customers within Saudi Arabia and overall delivering further growth for Kuehne+Nagel.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Activelymaintain and develop own client portfolio and sell Kuehne+Nagel’s servicesacross business units.
  • Maintainand develop close business relationships with client(s) and importantstakeholders across industries.
  • Developexisting and future customer base, delivering business growth with both currentand new Key Account clients.
  • Preparationand review of the Key Account Plan in line with the development directions ofthe company’s professional organizations and the entire company’s budget plan.
  • Assistingin the annual preparation of tender documents for companies managed by thedepartment, and actively participating in the escalation management of thesecompanies.
  • Responsibilityfor budget and P&L for nominated accounts.
  • Coordinationof client life cycles such as business development, implementation, businessreviews and results.
  • Ensuredelivery of high-quality services to clients in cooperation with internalstakeholders.
  • Coordinatewith the wider sales and business unit organisations on sales plans to developand increase the Kuehne+Nagel market share.
