Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. This role will focus on generating new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and managing the full sales process. You will be involved in various marketing activities, including cold calling, market research, and pipeline development. You will also travel to job sites, conduct sales presentations, and engage with customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a similar industry, selling and servicing equipment.
  • Proven track record in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, business development, and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial/commercial sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to re-engineer sales operations, create new policies, and develop innovative strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Lead Generation: Conduct cold calls, market research, and build a robust client pipeline.
  • Sales Process: Generate quotes, prepare pricing sheets, contact vendors for pricing, follow up on sales quotes, and process orders.
  • Customer Communication: Handle inbound calls and emails, identify new sales prospects, and follow up on leads.
  • Sales Strategy & Monitoring: Track sales leads, follow up, and collaborate with the team to monitor the effectiveness of sales efforts.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with potential clients, follow up on existing leads, and secure future business.
  • Travel: Visit job sites, meet customers, and participate in sales presentations or product inspections.
  • Training & Development: Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance skills.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Reporting & Monitoring: Analyze sales reports, monitor CRM activity, and track sales progress.
