Description:

National Sales Manager UK – Irish Market
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to expand our customer base and increase market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business between the UK and Ireland primarily in the pallet network/groupage sector
  • Visit existing clients to offer new services
  • Identify new business opportunities and submit tenders.
  • Attend trade shows in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe to promote our brands
  • Analyse sales data and trends to provide insights for improvement
  • Liaise with the sales team in Dublin to follow up leads and identify targets
  • Build a sales team for other group owned depots across the UK
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management

Skills

  • Proven experience in sales management in the Irish Groupage Freight market
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Assist our designers to design marketing materials and mail-shots
  • Use the existing databases and pipelines to start new sales campaigns

    Job Type: Full-time, office & field based
    Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

  • B2B sales: 5 years (required)

  • Road Freight Sales: 5 years (required)
