PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. JOB SUMMARY

The National Training Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all Retail and Wholesale training, succession planning and customer experience programs.
The ideal candidate is a business process oriented professional with demonstrated success in leading continuous improvements that enhance employee development and/or customer experience. They will have the ability to build and maintain effective teams, be committed to collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, and have a reputation of superior leadership and interpersonal skills.
This position ensures the successful implementation of strategies through strong collaboration with their Human Resource, Compliance, Retail, Wholesale and Merchandising business partners. The incumbent will also collaborate with Product Development, Marketing and Visual presentation partners to create compelling product knowledge training to meet sales targets and is ultimately responsible for all sales and customer experience initiatives to achieve PharmaCann retail and wholesale sales and margin goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in developing training programs, facilitating large scale meetings, monitoring training records via a learning management system and driving a best in class customer service model for retail operations to assist in the achievement of revenue, productivity, and other key performance goals for the organization.

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • Travel to meet business expectations is a vital part of the role.
  • Travel will primarily be to the multi-state retail locations.
  • Travel is primarily by and/or a combination of driving, flying, or other transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and track onboarding and training for teams with modules, quizzes, and video content that will result in consistency across all of Retail, Cultivation and Corporate.
  • Continuously develop sales training to support high customer experience standards and industry leading customer engagement in Retail and Wholesale.
  • Collaborate with Cultivation and Marketing partners to develop product knowledge for all 1st party brands for Retail and Wholesale.
  • Work closely with Wholesale, Retail, Marketing and Digital teams, VP’s, Regional Managers and Store Management to exceed sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Work with the Marketing team to launch new products and events in Retail and Wholesale.
  • Frequently host new hire orientation for Cultivation and Corporate employees.
  • Create and oversee training content for leadership teams both in Retail and Corporate with workshops and conferences.
  • Measure employee engagement through tracking training initiatives, employee retention results and engagement surveys.
  • Work with HR on Retail and Wholesale succession planning programs at PharmaCann.
  • Partner with Wholesale to create synergies within the market, understand business trends and ensure a consistent brand message is being portrayed.
  • Support the Retail Operations team in training on various operations and POS initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Cultivation and Retail leadership to continuously review, and revise standard operating procedures and publish to our LMS for acknowledgement.
  • Connect and continuously develop the Regional Trainers for Retail through hosting of monthly calls and individual meetings to ensure customer service and operational standardization across all of Retail and support succession planning of the Regional Trainers.
  • Promote an environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others and supports ongoing collaboration to execute business strategies, and measures own success by the team’s success.
