THE ROLE
The National Child Mortality Database (NCMD) Programme team is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the programme of work. This is a senior, strategic role to assist the NCMD Director and Deputy Directors by managing the programme’s systems, communications, and relationships with external stakeholders including the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) and NHS England. The purpose of the role is to enable a continuous improvement cycle across the programme that enables us to deliver our ambition and maximise our use of systems to deliver high quality analysis to inform policy change at a national level and to reduce the number of children who die.
