Description:
This is a very exciting opportunity for you to come and work in Camden MOSAIC, an innovative multidisciplinary service for children and young people aged 0-18 with a disability. You will be a qualified clinician such as a Speech and Language Therapist, CAMHS clinician Occupational Therapist with experience of working in neurodevelopmental disorders pathways. You will work in the Camden MOSAIC service coordinating and carrying out the assessments of children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD, and other related aspects of the MOSAIC service as required. Specifically, these roles, which are the result of new investment, will support enhance the capacity of the service to deliver diagnostic assessments. We are looking for motivated and skilled people to support us in this rewarding work, which will lead to significantly reduced wait times and a better experience for children, young people and their families.
To provide specialist clinical support as part of the multidisciplinary Camden MOSAIC Services, primarily within Camden Child Development team (CDT) and /or Social Communication Assessment Service (SCAS).
To provide a highly specialist service to children / young people who may have neurodevelopmental disorders, with a focus on diagnostic assessment.
To support in the development of training packages to school staff / parents / other professionals, in order for them to identify concerns regarding the child /young persons needs and implement therapy advice effectively.
To prioritise the safeguarding of vulnerable children / young people at all times
To support the service to achieve Key Performance Indicators, maintaining Target Activity Levels and demonstrating impact re quality and outcomes.
To contribute to quality governance, audits and projects for the team/service
To be responsible for the supervision of line management of identified team members as required.
To support the Clinical Coordinator of Speech and Language Therapy in Camden MOSAIC with service development
MOSAIC is a multidisciplinary organisation based at Kentish Town Health Centre, supporting children and young people aged 0-18 with a disability, and their families. The service includes the Child Development Team (CDT), Social and Communication Assessment Service (SCAS), Single Point of Referral (SPOR), delivery of post-diagnostic parent programmes, a Feeding Clinic, the Down Syndrome Pathway and the Sleep Service.
