NDT Inspector - International Placements

ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.
We have immediate opportunities for skilled people to undertake world-leading training in the United States (U.S), setting you up for a secure career back home in the nuclear-powered submarine program - Australia’s largest-ever industrial endeavour.
You will have access to cutting edge training in Pearl Harbor (Hawaii) for 12-18 months, with some roles completing placements at other locations throughout the USA during the full course of the assignment.

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector you will be responsible for completing NDT activities as part of third-party inspection requirements and review the quality of documentation.
The training will be a combination of classroom-based training and on the job learning.
Opportunities are available immediately and individuals wishing to express interest in a position should be available and interested in being repatriated in the near term.
At the completion of your deployment, you will return to Western Australia to carry out the planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines.
