WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Mandatory requirements:

• Engineer’s degree mechanics/electrics/electronics
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools
• Level 3 according to ISO 9712 or ASNT for the most of the following NDTs when they are used on site: Visual testing, Magnetic testing, Penetrant testing, Ultrasonic testing (conventional, PAUT, TFM, TOFD), Radiographic testing (Film, Digital), or Level 2 with minimum 10 years of experience
• Welding engineer / welding technician (IWE/IWT)
• 10 years of experience in NDTs and 3 years of experience in management position

Assets:

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Level 3 according to ISO 9712 or ASNT in leak testing

In this project, your main responsibilities will be:

• Ensure the technical compliance to internal and international standards of the NDT activitiesperformed by internal inspectors and / or NDT Site Service Providers
• Ensure NDT instructions for specific applications are approved by NDT Level 3: by him/her directly or by liaising with a competent Third Party
• Cascade and implement at site level the evolutions of the standards of the Region
• Support innovation by developing new NDT applications for the site based on local needs
• Provide guidance and mentoring to NDT site personnel
• Liaise with NDT local laboratories and authorities if needed
• Define the needs of NDT Inspectors for the site and ensures relevant trainings and qualifications
• Participate to the animation of the NDT Regional network by systematic calls (min 1 / month)
• Support root cause analysis and investigations related to NDT upon Operations request
• Can support the Region NDT Expert upon request
• Supervise the external inspectors team
