Job Title: NDT Technician Gr ||
Overview: We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing methods to evaluate the integrity of materials and structures without causing damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant testing.
- Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports of findings and maintain accurate records of inspections.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment and tools.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in NDT is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Certification in NDT methods (ASNT NDT Level II).
- Strong understanding of NDT principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, API).
- Proficiency in using NDT software and tools.
