    You will be:

  • Conducting non-destructive testing and inspection work according to the best method, SRG procedures, and standards.

  • Preparing samples and cleaning items to be tested
  • Recording the results of inspections and preparing technical reports to a high standard
  • Communicating and liaising work scopes and results with clients
  • Performing regular cleaning, calibration and maintenance of test equipment
  • Implementing company HSE policies and procedures and working to improve HSE culture continuously
  • Ensuring all safety systems are adhered to and that work is carried out per SRG systems.

Forming part of a skilled and high-performing Inspections team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. Required Certification:

  • Level 2 Ultrasonic ISO 9712
  • Level 2 Magnetic Particle ISO 9712
  • Level 2 Dye Penetrant ISO 9712
  • Working at heights & Confined Space Entry certification would be ideal.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years’ NDT experience in a similar industry with exposure to heavy industrial plants
  • At least 5 years’ experience with UT Level II
  • You must possess a valid New Zealand driver’s license
  • Familiarity with the limitations of each method and ability to perform field examinations
  • Experience in analysing data and preparing reports
  • Computer literate and good report-writing skills
  • Excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service
  • Team player
  • Confidence working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Willing to travel from time to time as required
