  • Permanent position, flexible FTE

  • Needs Assessor Service Coordinator (NASC) -Family Options Programme

TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Needs Assessor to join our Family Options service to provide assessment of care needs for children with complex and long term medical conditions, within the context of their family, whānau and home environment.
The Family Options programme services the Auckland, Counties Manukau, Northland and Waitematā Districts and focuses on the co-ordination of innovative solutions in the provision of respite care for children who are medically fragile and/or technologically dependent in their own home. The Needs Assessor joins the central team of Starship Community and is a main contributor to this Regional Programme.

NGA PŪKENGA MOTUHAKE | IMPORTANT SKILLS

To be successful you will:

  • Be a registered clinician with a current NZ annual practicing certificate
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Have a relevant clinical background of at least 5+ years.
  • Have a full, clean and current New Zealand driver’s licence as this role will involve driving an ADHB pool car.
  • Be an experienced clinician with a passion for paediatrics
  • Have commitment to our organisational values
