Stockport NHS Trust has been awarded funding from the Neonatal Network to allow the expansion of our neo natal team. Therefore we have an exciting opportunity to recruit more Band 6 Sisters within the Neonatal Service at Stockport NHS foundation trust. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated individuals who can demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, provide support and education for junior staff and are passionate about improving patient safety and the patient experience and providing leadership and management of the team on a shift and work closely with the Senior Sisters, Lead Nurses and Matron in developing the service and enhancing quality of care delivery.

The post-holder is will provide clinical assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care given to Sick and pre-term babies and their families demonstrating family centred care; provide expert advice to parents and carers acting as a resource to other members of staff. They will take a lead role in a specific area of the service
