Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework. The .NET Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure the technical architecture aligns with business goals and industry best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development and at least 3+ years in an architecture role using .NET technologies.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and Agile methodologies.
    Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving architecture decisions in large-scale enterprise applications.
    Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex challenges systematically.
    Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and big data solutions.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Adaptability to changing technologies and requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture & Design: Lead the architectural design of .NET applications, ensuring they meet business requirements, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Technology Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.

  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization in existing systems, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Cloud Integration: Design and implement cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.), ensuring optimal use of cloud resources and services in the .NET ecosystem.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that software solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and API documentation.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve architecture and design approaches.
