Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to join our remote team.
Chainbridge Technologies, a software company located in Tysons Corner VA, was founded in 2003 to deliver mission-critical, operations-centric systems with an emphasis on addressing specialized scientific, engineering, and technical challenges.
We started developing our first emergency management solutions in 2004, and today our planning, preparedness, response, and recovery systems are utilized by tens of thousands of emergency managers and responders across all levels of government and the private sector. Our innovative use of cloud, mobile, GIS, and social media technologies, combined with policy and operational subject matter expertise, is applicable to the full spectrum of emergency response missions encompassing both All-Hazard and CBRN incidents.

Qualifications (Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Experience working on a variety of software development projects
  • Knowledge of the Agile software development life cycle
  • Must be a full-stack developer and understand concepts of software engineering
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with the technical skills listed belo

Technical Skills Required:

  • C#
  • .NET 4.8 or 5+
  • Web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS
  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Building applications within a cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with one or more front end single page application frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, etc.
  • Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Scripting
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience working in a remote environment and working with team members utilizing a collaborative work platform such as Teams, Slack, etc.
  • Collaborative team player
  • Good communication skill

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The daily responsibilities for this role revolve around development of code in alignment with detailed requirements outlined in assigned ADO (Azure DevOps) tickets. During the sprint, you will be responsible for taking lead on feature implementation. Beyond coding tasks, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding fellow developers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining open communication with both the PM (Project Manager) and QA (Quality Assurance) teams. Regular participation in weekly meetings is also expected to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with broader project objectives.

As a .NET Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and creating new functionality within an existing web-based system
  • Developing code and addressing issues through an Agile methodology
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software
  • Ability to mentor other Software Developers
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks without aid
