JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You’ll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals. Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer
  • Strong C# skills (.net Core)
  • Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Principles (OOP / OOD/ SOLID)
  • Experience with unit testing and writing testable code
  • Experience in designing and building data-driven applications applying clean code and architecture principles
  • Proficiency with web programming frameworks and protocols including ASP.NET Core, React, or another modern JavaScript framework (e.g. Angular, Vue)
  • Experience in building micro services
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of secure coding practices
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and software product lifecycle
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Foundry)
  • Experience in one or more relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), or document databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Ability to work in an Agile Team
  • Interested in learning about the business to solve challenging technical problems
