WHO WE ARE

LEAP Dev is the “Software House” powering LEAP Legal Software. For more than 30 years, our curiosity and commitment to continual improvement has kept us reimagining productivity tools for lawyers and their staff to support our guiding purpose, to ‘Help lawyers who help people’. The market-leading software we develop and support is used by more than 100,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium-sized law firms.

Responsibilities:

As our product offering continues to expand and increases in adoption, developing and maintaining the tools for global data migrations will be critical to ensure our ongoing success. As the newest member of our newly centralised Data Transitions team, you’ll work closely with regional Data Analysts who will look to you to develop and maintain tools that transition data from various global databases to LEAP. This is a predominantly back-end development role with approximately 70% of your time focusing on enhancement and improvement of internal tools across 6 regions, and 30% of your time on new projects - exploring new tools and products we aren’t currently supporting. You won’t just work on one product or one tool - this is a varied role looking at every single product globally. The day to day will include:

  • Implementing changes to internal transitions software to address reported bugs or enhancements
  • Actioning or investigating tasks/changes relating to tickets logged in JIRA.
  • Maintaining and support internal transitions software
  • Working on various internal transitions tools providing analysts with necessary support
  • Working on projects to address various requirements of transitioning data to LEAP
