DESCRIPTION:

  • The system developer plays a critical role in designing and supporting the enterprise solutions in a Microsoft Azure environment.
  • This position works with the client, project team, Federal Leads, and collaborative project resources, to accomplish the project’s tasks and deliverables on time.
  • The position will be customer-facing and agile methodology project.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS OF BEST CANDIDATES:

  • HTML, CSS, C#, Blazor, API development, mobile development (MAUI).
  • bUnit (Blazer Unit Test).
  • Understanding of and experience with understanding of Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong experience in developing web and mobile applications for both android and iOS software.
  • SCRUM/Agile Development experience including experience working on a distributed team.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience building, testing, deploying, and operating highly scalable and resilient cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with web development tools.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Good understanding of micro-service architecture
  • Familiarity with system administration and configuration management automation (Ansible, Puppet or Chef) and cloud provisioning tooling (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
  • Experience in consuming data from REST APIs.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.
  • Experience working on Federal, State and local government projects
  • Experience working with SQL Server / RDBMS databases
  • Experience in using Telerik Blazor UI
  • Experience in using Kubernetes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
    Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
    A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $102,000 – $145,000
    Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.
    To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:

  • Work with clients to design enterprise solutions and implement in development.
  • Work with client SMEs and Business Analysts to decompose functional/business/technical requirements to create actionable system design.
  • Design and develop containerized microservices, web, and mobile applications, using .NET and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • General knowledge of OAuth and OpenID concepts.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for deployment of containerized applications using Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
  • Review system performance and consumption issues, review test plans, and provide technical guidance and support to others.
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
  • Under general guidance works with customers and end user groups to evaluate technical problems and applying advanced principles, theories and concepts to a wide range of work in the areas of planning, deployment,
