We are looking for part-time or full-time workers in Port Hardy. Please note that this is is at our land-based net loft facilities, not our Sea Ops dept.

EXPERIENCE:

• No experience needed, training will be provided
  The Net Wash Technician is to understand dedication to adhering to the standards and objectives set forth in our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certifications. The Net Wash Technician is committed to reducing risk, ensuring compliance and safety in all phases of our business considering the raw materials, design, production, transportation/delivery, use, end of life treatment, and final disposal (life cycle) of their processes, tasks or products they are responsible for. The Net Wash Technician strives to develop products and services that assist our stakeholders in contributing to the preservation and improvement of the environment, with the ultimate goal of conserving it for future generations.

• Ensuring all nets stay in tank for the hour required, at a specific temperature
• Cleaning out of Diss Tank and heat exchanger
• Rope Knots – Reef, Bowline, Half Hitch, Clove Hitch, Lock Knot (Catspaw)
• Proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools
• Cleaning and organizing of tool room
• Operation and maintenance of Forklift including peruse checklist (after 3-month probation eligible to take the Forklift certification course)
• This is physically demanding work, performed outside in all weather conditions
