About the Role
Technology plays a critical role in the delivery of AGL’s strategy, helping our customers decarbonise the way they live, move and work and transitioning our generation portfolio.
We have an exciting opportunity for a NetSuite Developer to join our Customer Markets Technology business area and provide dedicated support to our Sustainable Business Energy Solutions Technology (SBES) team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of the Oracle NetSuite application, which is critical to the day-to-day business operations of SBES.
Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will manage complex issues and serve as an escalation for Level 3 support to provide specialised NetSuite support. SBES has a mission to enhance productivity and drive innovations and this role will proactively engage with the user community to understand challenges and requirements and spearhead development initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide Level 4 support for Oracle NetSuite, addressing and resolving complex technical issues escalated from Level 3 support.
• Develop and implement enhancements to the Oracle NetSuite application as part of continuous improvement function.
• Work closely with the Technology Lead to ensure alignment of Oracle NetSuite functionalities with AGLs overall technology strategy and best practices and facilitate the adoption and optimal use within the SBES business unit.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of the Oracle NetSuite system to ensure it meets the business’s operational standards and efficiency metrics.
• Manage, execute and maintain system integrations
• Document all coding changes, fixes, and enhancements in line with company policy and industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing of new developments in a sandbox environment before deployment to ensure stability and minimise disruptions to business operations.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong experience working with Oracle NetSuite and a deep understanding of its functionality and technical configuration.
• Software development experience and experience with languages and platforms used by Oracle NetSuite such as JavaScript (SuiteScript 2.x), and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex system issues with an analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, and ability to clearly record processes, actions, and development changes for compliance and operational continuity.
• Strong understanding of the IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
