WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Team Lead to join our team. The individual will be responsible for managing a team while managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client requirements and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, a proven track record of successful project management, and strong people management skills. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field
- Mandatory: Bilingual in French and English as we do have clients outside of the province of Quebec
- Mandatory: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role with team management experience
- At least 3 years of project management skills with a solid understanding of methodologies, resource allocations and financial management
- At least 1 year of understanding of Oracle NetSuite
- Mandatory: Solid experience in the consulting and/or ERP industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop data-driven solutions and maintain delayed project and process documentation
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction to ensure high-quality support and solutions delivered
- Quick adaptability to adjust to changing requirements and environments as well as technology evolution
- (Asset) PMP/PMI designation
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, developing comprehensive project plans with timelines, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools and methodologies
- Hands-on with the execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives
- Identify and engage all relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate on resource allocation, ensuring team members and tools are assigned effectively to meet project needs
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
- Maintain a risk register, regularly assessing and updating project risks to prevent disruptions
- Resolve escalated project issues efficiently, ensuring project continuity
- Manage project changes, documenting and communicating adjustments to stakeholders and assessing impacts on timelines and budgets
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including status updates and post-project evaluations
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are addressed and expectations are met
- Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support to maintain productivity and morale
- Prepare and present detailed documentation and/or training to improve department efficiency
- In collaboration with HR, excel in people management such as scheduling, coaching, promotion, fostering accountability, resolving interpersonal conflicts, evaluation of performance, hiring, and termination
- Anticipate future needs based on project pipelines and company growth
- Any other delegated responsibilities by the Employer
