As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the security and availability of our network infrastructure, as well as the expansion and maintenance of the firewall infrastructure and policy framework. Collaborating with product experts, you will set up complex network and firewall environments and support services in data centers by analyzing failed network connections and eliminating the causes.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- Several years of professional experience with a focus on networking
- Very good knowledge of network protocols such as BGP, LLDP, IPSEC, IP, ISIS, SPBm
- Experience in the design of firewall systems
- Knowledge in the operation of network fabrics, WLAN, and network monitoring solutions
- Experience in the operation of VMware NSX and CheckPoint solutions for enterprise networks is desirable
- Willingness to take on on-call duty
- Very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2), both written and spoken
Responsibilities:
- Set up complex network and firewall environments in collaboration with product experts from the manufacturers
- Ensure the security and availability of our network infrastructure
- Expand the functions of our network and firewall infrastructure
- Support the policy rules of our firewalls and manage VPN access
- Support our services in the data centers with your colleagues
