Description:
JOB SUMMARY
As a Network Admin, you will be responsible for the planning, installation, and maintenance of networking equipment, as well as managing the logistics of relocating data center infrastructure. Your technical skills and attention to detail will ensure the efficient operation and uptime of our data centers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proven knowledge & troubleshooting skills with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VPLS, Wavelength, EVCs, Fiber, SFPs would be preferred.
· Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnets) and protocols.
· Strong understanding and extensive troubleshooting experience with layer2 technology (VLAN, Spanning Tree, Trunk, Ether-channel)
· Experience with DDoS mitigation.
· Experience with SD-WAN implantation.
· Knowledge of routing security RPKI/IRR.
· Experience with loop mitigation, broadcast/multicast storm control.
· Familiarity with firewalls like Cisco ASA, Check Point, or Fortinet
· Understanding VPNs, remote access solutions, and secure communication protocols
· Experience with data center infrastructure and relocation logistics.
· Experience with MS Visio in creating and maintaining diagrams.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
· Oversee the planning and execution of data center relocations, including equipment disassembly, transportation, and reinstallation.
· Evaluating user requirements and designing system architecture and parameters
· Monitor and maintain network performance, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop relocation strategies and timelines.
· Document network configurations, relocation processes, and equipment inventories.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during relocations.
· Plan, install, relocate networking hardware (routers, servers, switches, firewalls).
· Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on networking and data center equipment.
· Performing disaster recovery processes and data backups to protect data and systems from attacks or loss
· Maximizing network performance by monitoring activity, troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades
· Assist in capacity planning and performance monitoring efforts.
