POSITION DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATION
POSITION TITLE: Network Administrator DATE: August 2024
FLSA STATUS: Exempt DEPT: General Administration
LOC: Delaware
POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Administrator reports to the Director of IT and is responsible for providing network support as well as supporting the organization for all IT related needs and requests; operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned.
???????SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in IT or equivalent from four-year college or technical school preferred; or two to three years related experience and/or training;
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
- Knowledge of Windows 7/8.1/10
- Knowledge of Office 2010/2013/2016
- Experience with VMware 6.0 and VMware vSphere client
- Troubleshooting skills of Servers/PC’s/laptops/printers/etc.
- Knowledge of local area network concepts and fundamentals.
- Must be able to focus on key tasks, prioritize duties, and manage multiple priorities.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Customer service skills to provide service over phone and in person
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time, perform office and clerical duties including use of office tools.
Working Environment: The working environment is corporate office facility. Daily contact with employees in other departments is required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to system users either in person, by phone, or through email.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end user desktops and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot technical problems with the network, operating systems, software programs, desktop/laptop computer, servers, network hardware, printers, copiers and communication devices.
- Create written procedures on business processes, network topology, knowledge base documents, and maintain corrective action logs.
- Maintain data integrity and file system security for computing environment per IT standards set forth by IT Manager.
- Ensure LAN and WAN remains operational with high availability.
- Perform move/add/change in Active Directory and hosted email
- Perform wiring and cabling of network equipment (LAN & PBX)
- Assist IT Manager with projects and handle projects independently
- Operates in compliance with company safety practices: complies with and aids in the development of departmental safety rules; ensures all equipment is in good working order and operates in a safe manner; monitors area for hazards; and maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
