REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, project management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience with a strong track record of delivering projects on time. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Proficiency in using network diagnostic and monitoring tools.
  • Experience in setting up and managing virtual networks and firewalls.
  • Understanding different network topologies and the configuration of network devices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Create network architectures that meet organizational needs, including LANs, WANs, and intranets.
  • Provide regular reports on network status and performance to management.
  • Maintain detailed records of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics.
  • Offer support to users, staff members, clients, or suppliers to ensure smooth network operations.
  • Work with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve problems and implement new solutions.
  • Run operations for disaster recovery and data backups.
  • Implement and manage security tools, policies, and procedures to protect data and network integrity.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support to resolve network issues.
  • Ensure system availability and reliability by monitoring network performance.
