    We are looking for an experienced enterprise-level Network Engineer to join the in-house technology team with one of Australia’s high-profile media broadcasters.
    Based in Sydney’s North Shore, the role of Network Engineer is a varied position covering day-to-day network infrastructure operations, network admin, 3rd line trouble-shooting and regular new project assignments including new installations, testing, configuration, and modernisation of the facility’s capabilities.
    Working with, and supported by a talented local team, partners and technology vendors, the Network Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving critical network infrastructure for broadcast TV, Radio and video streaming operations enjoyed by millions of Australians every day.

WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a Cisco-certified network engineer with experience supporting and improving in-house enterprise infrastructure environments.

  • Operational experience and proficiency with the following networking technologies;
  • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching families,
  • Cisco Firewalls (FTD, FMC, ASA), Cisco ASR series routers
  • Cisco Wireless ecosystem – controllers, WAPs and management platforms
  • F5 and Citrix Load Balancers
  • Operational experience Spine-Leaf VXLAN deployments managed through Cisco DCNM
  • Solid Routing and Switching skills (RIP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols, spanning tree)
  • Familiarity with SDN & SDDC technologies and their applications
  • Familiarity with L4-7 services integration in a data centre environment
  • Familiarity with cloud networking connectivity and implementation
  • Familiarity with WAN connectivity through MPLS, Internet and dark-fibre solutions, both internally managed and carrier delivered.

Further experience gained in a television broadcast or media technology environment, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
