Mid = $89,631.55

Summary:
The Network Engineer I will be expected demonstrate exceptional technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security; works independently and perform complex work to design, deploy, install, modify, test, document and upgrade networking devices, such as switches, routers, access points, and firewalls.
Network Engineer I will have a solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting. You will perform installations of LAN, WAN, and WLAN equipment. Have a solid understanding of trunk and uplink configurations and installations.
Responsibilities:
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) with the assistance of a Network Engineer II or III
Perform network maintenance to include firmware updates and security patches.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Provide Level 1 / 2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Maintaining current knowledge of networking and security best practices
Create processes and documentation to support network maintenance and management.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years related experience is required
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Aruba Wired and Wireless Networks
Palo Alto Firewall Management
Experience in managing network infrastructure
