Certification: Must have CCNA certification.
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco equipment.
Language: English (Minimum B2 level)
Pre-Requisite: Must have the right to work in Ireland in a full-time role.

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco equipment and medium-to-large enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and managing data center, network, and server environments.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking skilled Network Engineers to support and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure at multiple locations. This role involves working with a variety of network devices, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational stability in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points, preferably Cisco-certified.
  • Assign switch ports to specific VLANs and patch phone ports to switches as needed.
  • Troubleshoot Avaya VoIP phones, including basic configuration tasks.
  • Diagnose issues with fiber links between switches, visualize errors, and communicate effectively with remote technical teams.
  • Perform troubleshooting and replacement of network switch chassis blades as required.
  • Conduct periodic visual checks (minimum twice weekly) of IDF rooms for cooling and power status, focusing on UPS alarms and PDU health.
  • Assist with the monitoring and use of tools like SolarWinds for network performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with network and data center admins (internal, customer, and vendor) for technical troubleshooting.
  • Perform IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) services for data center and network equipment.
