Description:

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of the company’s computer networks, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud infrastructure. This role ensures network stability, performance, and security, while working closely with other IT teams to support the company’s infrastructure.

  • Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
  • Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Provide technical support for network issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex network issues.

Experience:

  • Network engineering: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CCNA (Preferred)
