Rogers is seeking a Network Planner to join the technology team.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Analyze market level KPIs, traffic growth, coverage gaps, etc. to identify in-building system requirement
  • Develop plan for new in-building site, upgrade existing site and analyze alternatives to recommend the most economical in-building solution
  • Provide technical details to design appropriate in-building solution to meet coverage and growing subscriber demand
  • Plan, budget, and initiate projects to support network evolution, meet departmental and organizational objectives regarding network expansion, subscriber growth and usage patterns
  • Produce applicable project specification documents to initiate and synchronize all stakeholders to accomplish in-building system initiatives
  • Collaborate with Regional Network Implementation and Engineering teams for support and guidance for site acquisition, lease, and design issues
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of project status, identify obstacles that have negative impact on project completion targets and recommend course of action to resolve technical issue
  • Estimate cost and prepare CA for new in-building projects with National Planning and Engineering teams
  • Prepare capacity for event, coordinate with event management and performance monitoring, conduct postmortem study on event performance to optimize in-building system
