Description:

Excellent opportunity for Network Security Engineer to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Should have experience in PaloAlto Firewalls
  • Good experience working within Network Security.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Hands on experience in networking and interfacing of Manufacturing Operational Technology such as:
  • Control systems from a wide range of vendors (PLC and SCADA)
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (Data historians, EBR, OEE)
  • Lab Systems
  • Expertise on securing OT network architecture, firewalls and firewall rule sets as they pertain to OT network traffic.
  • Knowledge of ISA Standards (ISA/IEC62443, S95, S88) and the NIST Framework and/or Certification.
  • Elisity, Cisco, platforms knowledge/certification.
  • Deep hands-on IT/OT experience in a complex environment (High Volume Manufacture, FCMG) with proven execution capabilities.
  • Experience in CCNP, CCSE, PCNSA, PCNSE, AZURE/AWS Cloud Administrator / Security is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to Design, plan and implement WAN, LAN and wireless networks in a corporate network environment with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible to work within Network Security.
  • To Analyse network activity and network problem trends to discover and prevent systemic errors
  • Assess network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business.
  • Provide training and guidance to network support teams.
  • Provide engineering recommendations and service improvement plans for the corporate network infrastructure.
  • Provide network design documentation to project teams, peers, and network support organizations.
