Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our growing team. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our clients’ networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions for our clients
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the network infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients on security-related issues
  • Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared systems and data
  • Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, etc.)
  • Experience with network security best practices and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud security and virtualization technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or GIAC are preferred.
