Description:

Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Juniper Switches to maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Palo Alto, Fortinet Fortigate, and Cisco Firewalls for network security and access control.
  • Utilize SolarWinds NPM (Network Performance Monitor) and NCM (Network Configuration Manager) for network monitoring and configuration management.
  • Perform administration of Access Control Lists (ACLs) to manage and secure network traffic.
  • Perform firmware upgrades and staging works for network requests.
  • Respond to incidents according to SLAs.
  • Prepare root cause analysis reports and improvement plans after a major incident or problem.
  • Prepare reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) as required by the client/Service Delivery Manager (SDM).Require to be on rotational duty.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience managing a large-scale enterprise network.
  • 1+ years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst Switches (IOS), Cisco Nexus Switches (NXOS), and Juniper Switches.
  • Experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto, Fortinet Fortigate, and Cisco Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with SolarWinds NPM / NCM for network monitoring and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
