Overview:
Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced Wireless Network Lead for projects starting Nov 2024. The ideal resource will have 8+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless networks (i.e., Cisco Wireless, Meraki, Aruba, etc) in an enterprise environment. Previous experience in a technical leadership role to manage network engineers and large-scale wireless projects is required. Location: Victoria, BC (Remote). Term: Six (6) months. High possibility of extensions. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless networks (i.e., Cisco Wireless, Meraki, Aruba, etc) in an enterprise environment.
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, leading network engineers and managing large-scale wireless projects.
  • Hands-on experience conducting wireless site surveys and using tools, i.e., Ekahau.
  • Experience monitoring, identifying, and resolving wireless networks issues.
  • Knowledge of wireless security protocols and best practices.
  • Education: active industry certifications (i.e., CCNP Wireless) would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
