ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Netrix Global is looking for an Network Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the architectural strategy based on client needs. This role will engage with the Engineering teams as well as the client.
Location: Remote US with up to 50% of travel

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in designing solutions based on best practices for large scale LAN/WAN/Wireless deployments
  • Experience implementing and integrating Networking solutions in a consulting capacity
  • Advanced hands-on experience with various routing/switching platforms including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, HP, Arista.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with various firewall products including but not limited to Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, FortiNet, Meraki.
  • Hands on experience in the design, implementation and troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and security solutions.
  • Hands on experience and working knowledge of SD-WAN architecture including design and implementation based on various SD-WAN platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SASE architecture.
  • Prior experience with technical oversight and mentoring of engineering resources.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
  • Ability to build relationships and work with strategic customers and partners.
  • Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless, SDWAN solutions experience, preferably in Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Arista, Fortinet
  • Working knowledge of VMWare, Storage and Collaboration for infrastructure solutions
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of design, implementation, migration, and transition of Cisco/Palo Alto solutions from previous versions and/or competitive products
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of SASE and Networking Security
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and automation
